A seemingly respectable pillar of the community hides sickening secrets within the walls of her family home.

Based on a true story, this movie follows two developmentally challenged adults, Institutionalized throughout most of their lives. They now do not only have to deal with the loss of their home, they also have to deal with all the challenges that follow the decleration of their love for each other.

An author takes up teaching in a prison, and forms a close relationship with a convicted murderer who is desperate to make amends for his crimes. However, their efforts to get him paroled unleash the fury of the victim's sister, who struggles to overcome her hatred and forget the past.
