Hung Kuen vs Wing Chun was originally called Hung Kuen marries Wing Chun and I think it was made for television. It was more like a light romantic comedy mixed with the movie "Grumpy Old Men," in China. I liked it. It was fun to watch Gordon Liu play this character. It was cheesy, but fun anyway. (amazon.com)

If the Three Stooges had been Chinese, with one woman, this could very well have been one of their movies. Veteran director Lu Chun-ku leads handsome Liu Yung, pretty Liang Yun-Hsin, and “Thundering Mantis,” Liang Chia-Jen in a madcap mixup filled with cons, double-crosses, and triple plots. Add “Dirty Ho” himself, Wang Yu, to the proceedings, and you’ve got a winner for any fans of action or comedy.
