It's about as good as any of the episodes can be, albeit with higher production values. Considering that I love this series, it's kind of one of those hit and miss episodes. It's no Space Mutiny or Soultaker -- but it's still fun to watch.

It's definitely one of those "love-hate" kind of films. I took the chance of buying it, and i loved it. Everything is just so fun to watch on a scene to scene basis. The plot was definitely very creative, and took me places I had never been... Uh, in a good way. :P

Let me start by saying that the animation is absolutely wonderful. A Glorious 27 hand-painted frames per second. While the material can get rather gruesome at times, it's nothing that bothers me. The music adds a lot of weight to the scenes, and is full of all the crazed chanting and gamelan-banging you could ever want. Overall, I love it.

Part II is even better than part I. It deals with the consequences of time travel, which are demonstrated in just the perfect way.

I love this movie. While it may not be other fans' favorite, I love it's rapid slide into the darkness of Luke struggling and possibly temporarily falling to the Dark Side. It's a story of birth, death, and rebirth, quite simply.

This film is my second favorite in the original trilogy. It's got all the classic moments and elements that everyone knows about... Yoda, "Luke I am your father.", and so on.

In of itself, it is a very good telling of a heroic epic. When compared to Ep. V and Ep. VI, I feel it loses a few points.
