"Poop"

"Brando BEFORE his prime. It's kinda funny that in the span of only 20 years, Brando would go from steamy, brooding badass with buckets of sex appeal to old, fat badass with buckets of clout in The Godfather. As for this flick, eh, it's worth the watch just for the corny (almost laughable) 'gang' violence. The blurb at the beginning about how such acts weren't possible in most American towns is worth it. So is the so-called "jive" talk. I swear, it's the worst immitation of slang I've ever heard."

"James Dean wanted sooo badly to be Marlon Brando, who never gave Dean the time of day. Method actors were bitchy like that. In this movie, Dean's first, he plays the bad son who becomes industrious and tries to buy his father's love through a loan from his whorehouse owning mother. I love the Dean mystique, but he just wasn't that good of an actor. While this is better than Rebel Without A Cause, his last feature, Giant, is the only Dean movie that showed his promise and versatility as an actor."

"For all of the star power this film had going for it, you'd think there would be a better vehicle for them to work with. This movie not only sucked, but it was loooooong! Poop!"

"So many movies have tried in vain to do what this movie did without even knowing it. It not only hits racial issues, but gets into the sexual divide, and the generation gap as well. Only 'Malcolm X' surpasses this movie as my favorite Spike Lee joint. Watch this flick!"

"Sequels to really good movies usually end up being a bad idea. That would be the case for this movie as well, were it not for the eternally stunning Sophia Loren."

"Old people don't give a shit about what you think of them or how they live their lives. Old people are without vanity and pretentiousness that is often the shadow of youth. This philosophy shines in this movie. Funny, funny flick."

"I didn't hate it, but that's about the best review I can give it."

"So-so. The sherriff seemed to want to be the focus, but it never worked out in the movie. Similarly, did Woody Harrelson get a role in this as a favor or something? I'm not sure who he was, and what the hell he was supposed to be doing. The movie started and ended for me with the $2 million. Once Llewellen was out of it, what was the remaining 20 minutes for? There's too much not good about this movie to make me ever give a shit about watching it again."

"A long and rambling movie about a short and rambling life. IF, however, you can allow yourself to give a shit about Supertramp's journey, it's not bad. It's best reserved for a 'lazy Sunday'."
