John Coffey. Like the drink. Only not spelled the same. Watching this film made me immediately want to purchase the book. The way it was written and not to mention the incredible impact on Michael Clarke Duncan's performance was so captivating that I bet the book, the original source, has even more depth that couldn't fit in the adaptation. Source that probably allows us to explore the kindness and childlike innocence that define John Coffey. Obviously, I knew Coffey was some s... - Full Review

The Thing (1982) - Rated 12 Oct 2026
One little thing I love about this movie is the fact that after The Thing wakes up and starts feeding on the dogs, the crew hears the screams, reacts right away and tries to stop the threat (if it were a slasher movie, most of the crew wouldn't give a shit.)

My Own Private Idaho (1991) - Rated 12 Oct 2026
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the message this movie was trying to convey. I assumed that since it's part of the Criterion Collection it'd be amazing... I was wrong. Anyway, it was so bizarre but it had its moments. PS: I guess if I were gay like Mike, well, I'd be pretty pissed off if Keanu Reeves didn't return my feelings

Gorbachev doesn't miss a trick, even though he made a short appearance but he could read Trifonov's true intentions and so that set in motion his doom. Anyway, what a beautiful way to end a movie with Pet Shop Boys' music

Can't see the movie the way I used to do as a child when I found out one of early drafts had some weird sexy moments with Michael and Lola Bunny

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) - Rated 27 Sep 2026
Pappy O'Daniel might be a opportunistic bastard but he was no KKK member like Homer Stokes (though kinda funny that midget friend of his was part of that cult, I guess their KKK branch was the progressive one)

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) - Rated 27 Sep 2026
One little thing I noticed (I dunno if everything did) is there's a scene where one of the road signs points how far away you are from every city or village and in one of them it mentioned Haddonfield so I guess there's a possibility in this universe exists Michael Myers (so there's a chance this universe is still doomed cause maybe they got rid of the zombie menace but considering they might live in a slasher universe, well, maybe another big ass threat might wipe them out)

Lawrence of Arabia (1962) - Rated 27 Sep 2026
Neither Lawrence nor El Aurens survived in the end, all that remained was less than nothing
