Bio: I watch movies for entertainment. My favorite genre is action, horror and sci-fi. ...Least favorite is... I guess period drama, fantasy, and comedy maybe? I try not to be picky, though. It's hard for me to watch foreign films (English is my second language, and hearing one foreign language while reading English confuses my brain), and tend to avoid them without realizing.

"I knew what was going to happen, and I've seen the same stories many times, but I liked all of the characters in it, and their story gave me warm feelings and courage to keep going. Every one of us are running for different reasons, and this is a part of the USA."
75 68% Still Alice (2014) - Rated 20 Feb 2015
"It deals with something a lot of people have to face, however, not be discussed often. Life is tough and sad, and we all die in the end. This movie asks us what we can do in our lives knowing everything deteriorates in the end. What remains when we die?"
68 33% Friday the 13th (1980) - Rated 17 Feb 2015
"Believe it or not, this was my first time to watch this movie. I can see how this movie set the clishe of teen horror films. It's got pretty much all of it. However, the action scenes were poorly done, and some bad acting."
65 22% Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) - Rated 15 Feb 2015
"The first half was not bad. I wanted to see how story progress. The second half dragged. I didn't expect the ending to be like that, and I was disappointed. I knew the book based on was a bad one, so I say this film was well shot not being as bad."
80 82% The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - Rated 10 Feb 2015
"Very cute and charming. Different from any other films. It made me really wish I was more English literate to understand fully how they chose words and their poetry. The colors on screen were cute! Creme yellow and blue!"
73 55% The Fault in Our Stars (2014) - Rated 08 Feb 2015
"I can't even imagine how the lives of people who have to die so young are, but it made me rethink about my life and everyone's by looking at their stories in the movie."
83 91% Selma (2014) - Rated 05 Feb 2015
"Something we should remember and not forget. I made me think about how our society is formed and how this country has been made. Good movie."
70 41% Birdman (2014) - Rated 10 Jan 2015
"I probably didn't get 1/3 of dialogues of this movie. I'm not an English native, and this type of movies are difficult for me to understand and get into. However, I could see how creative this movie was, and i could sympathize with characters. The way it was shot reminded me of MEMORIES by Katsuhiro Otomo, as if it was shot by one take."
70 41% Big Hero 6 (2014) - Rated 07 Jan 2015
"Another movie I expected too much before I went to see it. I really liked the atmosphere of the whole city and the set up which is between Japan (namly Tokyo, but looks like Osaka) and San Francisco, my two hometowns. However, I wanted more edgy, deeper story telling (I wanted to make sure how Tadashi died, wanted to see more) instead of leaving it vague for kids. It reminded me too much of T2 and How To Train Your Dragon, and that's another reason I rate it this low."
73 55% The Imitation Game (2014) - Rated 03 Jan 2015
"I had a high expectation, and I think it was a good movie, but it didn't surprise or grab me enough to feel strong about this movie. Cumberbatch did an amazing performance, and other actors were great, too. It tell you what 'secret' does it to one's life."
