"A poorly tossed together adaptation of a very interesting, well-written book. Unlike the book, it had no idea how to make its characters feel like people and not plot devices, and didn't have the first clue how to build suspense and draw in its audience. If the plot sounds interesting to you, read the book and skip the movie."

"I feel like the actors brought as much charm to their characters as the script allowed, but Paper Towns is still every bit as dull, meaningless and forgettable as the book on which it's based. Unless you're a big fan of the book, or of John Green's work in general, I don't recommend it."

"I guess the rating I gave this may seem unreasonably high, but chances are that if you're watching a movie called Zombeavers, you're really just looking for something to laugh at and joke through with your buddies. It definitely delivers in that area, with a ridiculous premise, hilariously cheap effects, and really campy dialogue and characters. I enjoyed it a lot for those reasons, and I definitely recommend it for bad movie night."

"I've heard that this is an improvement over the book, and I can believe that because I wouldn't call the film an absolute trainwreck. Mostly, it was just a snore fest that felt at least an hour longer than it was. There were moments where the horrible dialogue was laughably bad, but not nearly enough to make this an entertaining sit, even for shits and giggles."

"Very original, laugh-out-loud hilarious, and wonderfully written. I enjoyed the hell out of this movie, especially because the main cast of characters (esp. the main protagonist) was so likeable and endearing. The message at the end is very hard-hitting and relevant. I really hope a lot of people see this movie. It does not deserve to be forgotten."

"Good old cute, cheesy, girly comedy fun. If you're into that kind of thing, you'll probably enjoy this movie. I think what makes this so enjoyable is Reece Witherspoon's performance of the incredibly likeable main character. It also has some nice themes of not letting people's expectations of you keep you from being the person you know you can be, so that's a plus."
