10 3% | Ruined Heart: Another Lovestory Between a Criminal & a Whore (2014) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"Pretentious, stupid nonsense. So boring. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a cinema, I really just wanted to escape this garbage. But one has principles..."

90 28% | Der Fan (1982) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"What a nightmare. This is how German horror ought to work... Full of symbolism as well. Schmidt's images (especially the framing and use of colours) are stunning too."

20 9% | The Ring (2002) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"Everything about this is wrong. Boring, ugly, stupid."

"My favourite horror film of all times. (Why is there a Chinese poster on this page...?)"

90 28% | Shiki-Jitsu (2000) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"A slightly surrealist post-modern tale of melancholy and loneliness. The images are stunning and the actors great. There could have been some more "action", I think, since it's pretty repetitive (and it wants to be exactly that), but all in all I really love it."

100 68% | Shin Godzilla (2016) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"The first Godzilla film in 12 years, and that's about the time I've waited for this one. I was happy to see it in Japan when it came out, and a childhood dream came true. It's the most terrifying, adult Godzilla until now, I couldn't have wished for more than that."

100 68% | Pastoral: To Die in the Country (1974) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"Perfection. Some of the most beautiful images I've ever seen. Highly philosophical plot as well, pure 1970s."
|
100 68% | Woman of Fire (1970) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"A remake of 1960's "Housemaid", even better, more shocking and in lurid colour."
|
100 68% | Salinnabileul ggotneun yeoja (1978) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"Pure madness. Just pure, entertaining madness and surrealism. One of my all-time favourites."
|
100 68% | Hanyo (1960) - Rated 10 Jun 2017
"What a perfect piece of art. A surrealist thriller about a lascivious housemaid who invades a "stable" family in post-war South Korea... The ending is quite incredible."
