Ingrid Goes West (2017) - Rated 22 Feb 2025
Enjoyable - a bit predictable as it was obvious everything was going to explode, but a bit funny in parts and entertaining.

Nosferatu (2024) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
Amazing visuals, as expected - I don't know what I was expecting, as I already knew the plot, but no surprises I guess. Orlock looked amazing.

Possessor (2020) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
2.8/5 - not bad, I love how visceral B. C. is with the gore and sex in his movies. But the plot of this one just was kind of meh - and I despised the character/acting of Jennifer Jason Leigh, it was cheesy. Why did this assassin not just leave her family if she wanted to go all in so bad? When she couldn't return to her normal state, why didn't she just go to her company headquarters? Did the super-billionaire seriously not have any security or cameras in his place? Just a lot of dumb stuff.

Titane (2021) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
3.7/5 - great movie, super fucked up. Just a crazy original storyline, good visuals as well. Kind of a sad story about two people finding someone when they needed someone.

Megalomaniac (2022) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
3.6/5 - this movie was super dark, but I thought it could have gone more twisted. Obviously the siblings are messed up, but Felix in particular seemed like kind of a basic character. So he just murders people all day, that's his "work"? I don't know - it was good, the imagery and house were great, a good gothic tone to it. I liked the demonic sequenced with the people painted all black, weird sex scene with snakes, etc. the score was good. story could have been just a little more interesting.

Annihilation (2018) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
4.2/5 - excellent movie, loved it - super cool concept, mysterious, and absolutely loved the visuals in it. The mixing of DNA in plants/humans/animals was so awesome

3.7/5 - great movie, awesome reinterpretation - loved how the expanded the story and still were able to sneak Tony Todd in, some great kills, creepy scenes, loved the vibe overall.

Mute Witness (1994) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
2.8/5 - mehhhh, not bad. Just like nothing special at all really - I guess it's more of a "thriller" than anything, just some stereotypical Russian guys chasing a mute girl basically. Sort of wished I'd watched something more interesting.

White Girl (2016) - Rated 10 Feb 2025
3.4/5 - this movie was good, albeit it a bit depressing. Interesting to see how things can spiral, I'm sure this is not too far from a lot of people's reality. A few rough scenes to watch, but it kept me interested! Probably wouldn't recommend or rewatch lol.
