"The movie tries to be smart yet it is not. Nolan uses his old tricks; dynamic editing and high volume music... This time it doesn't pay off. The acting is decent but nothing special. The visuals on the other hand are majestic; I enjoy Nolan's fast paced and intense direction, he is good at this."

"Gal Gadot is probably the worst actress still working in movies . The movies she appears are also stinkers but she manages to be the worst part of each one of them. This picture is also a piece of garbage yet the budget for the movie is huge. How is this stupid plot turn into movie and how does she make it in the movie business are great mysteries."

"I understand why it was a hit back in 1979 but for a fresh-eye it doesn't hold up. The movie might be a conservative response to women's liberation movement of the 70's, and most of the hipe it get probably comes from that. However, the reason I disliked the movie has nothing to do with the political agenda of the film. I have seen better written courtroom dramas and better written family dramas. Mr. Hoffman is good and Ms. Streep is better but the direction and screenplay are not very good."

"You might have heard of cheesy movies; well now you have a chance to watch one. All the non-sence action scenes, smart-ass jokes, the forced on-screen chemistry between the leads... none of those work but you will have a meaningless fun. What a waste of time/money/effort/talent."
