How damaging can be misplaced love? How hard can it be to confront reality and be true to oneself? The title of the movie perfectly catches the meaning. It's simplicity, honesty and inevitability caught in "just" and the shattering consequences in "the End of the World".

Sharp colors and emotions, real, pure and impossible to hide.

Beauty and the Beast (2017) - Rated 09 Jul 2017

The beast should've kept his beastly form to challenge the norms and Belle should have fought for the rights of children (so they could read) women (so they would not be objectified) and old men (so their wisdom would not be called insanity) in her village. Their union took the best of them, their love is not beautiful or romantic because it imprisoned them in the useless, empty and stale happy ever after.

Under the Sun (2015) - Rated 09 Jul 2017

I'm not sure it is appropriate to apply good or bad to the situation. They might have a bigger sense of purpose in their lives than an average European. They might find more joy in little things. The movie definitely makes you question freedom.

Elle (2016) - Rated 25 Apr 2017

I heard that this movie is an absolutely new take on the subject of rape. Well if it's unrealistic, cold and bullshit I can agree. HOW stupid one has to be to not know that two white people can't have a black child?

The Dancer (2016) - Rated 25 Apr 2017

The dance was marvelous. And the figure of Isadora Duncan was pretty... but it actually felt that nothing really worked together. A bunch of people happened to be in the same place and have no chemistry whatsoever. Beautiful people doesn't make the movie beautiful and two girls kissing doesn't make it thrilling.

A Hologram for the King (2016) - Rated 01 Jul 2016

The episode where Tom Hanks gets drunk on "olive oil" is very good. The movie is a bit surreal as well as light, it feels like a light brush of sandy wind.

American History X (1998) - Rated 01 Jul 2016

Everything with American in its name gets me suspicious. I'm always afraid to see thick pancakes covered in syrup with morning sunshine glance and kids getting drunk on beer from red plastic cups. My prejudice got me. The movie was exactly what I needed to start questioning my thoughts, my country and history.

Deadpool (2016) - Rated 18 Feb 2016

Well in school we say that 4 out of ten is the last passable grade. So okay, this is probably the second Marvel movie I saw and I'm surely not competent to talk about those four walls (or only the fourth one) which in my eyes went down like the house of cards. So because it will just pass by and not be remembered as THE awful movie I will let it pass. For obliteration's sake.
