Not as complete a movie as the first; it has a very incomplete ending, obviously setting up for the third movie in the trilogy. The special effects were impressive, but leaving the plot unfinished left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps when the third movie comes out I'll feel better about it.

Great cast, solid performances by Flynn and de Havilland. A classic swashbuckling pirate movie.

Wonderful cast, but a complete lack of a plot makes the movie watchable only as heckle-fodder.
