"Brutal length but otherwise a great movie. Some of these long movies are too long but this one I felt like the time was appropriate. I don’t feel like there was anything that could’ve been taken away from this movie. Just goes to show the challenges of immigration at that time and even at the time today. I would definitely recommend this movie but make sure you have off for the whole afternoon."

"So this is my first time watching this movie. I’ve already seen the Dark Knight in the Dark Knight Rises, but never saw the beginning. I really enjoyed this movie, Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors and I continue to be blown away with his film. I’m not a huge fan of superhero movies but this and the rest of the Dark Knight movies are some of the greatest superhero movies around."

"So this one was challenging to rate for me. While I thought overall, it was a good film, it was outdated. I’m sure the reason this is so renowned is because of the nuances regarding autism in the 80s and how this film portrayed that. Sidenote, it’s crazy that Daniel Day Lewis and Dustin Hoffman both won best actor back-to-back years for their performance playing a person with a medical condition."
