Premonition (2007) - Rated 30 Jan 2008
"Aw. I had hoped more of Sandra Bullock, who gave an emotionally flat performance... but I don't blame her, I blame the crappy writing. The plot left too much unspoken. The jumble, while interesting, was never fully explored, explained or finalized. Somewhat predictable, somewhat boring, but entirely crappy. :("
Because I Said So (2007) - Rated 29 Jan 2008
"Pretty good, but terribly predictable and formulated. Diane Keaton is nerve-wrackingly annoying as the mother, and Mandy Moore played the perfect ditzy daughter. Cute rom-com, but not that memorable."
27 Dresses (2008) - Rated 29 Jan 2008
"Predictable, but adorably so. Katherine Heigl is a great actress, and fits perfectly in the rom-com genre. I was genuinely surprised that there were some laugh-out-loud moments, and the writing isn't as bad as many other movies of the same formula."
Cloverfield (2008) - Rated 25 Jan 2008
"A little disappointing."
I Am Legend (2007) - Rated 25 Jan 2008
"Decent movie, but the best part is the special effects. Will Smith proves himself as a pretty good actor but there are quite a few loopholes in the plot and storyline here. Large enough for a legend to fit through... but with a surprise ending."
Girl, Interrupted (1999) - Rated 26 Dec 2007
"Excellent film, amazing performances and heart-wrenching example of the bonds we form regardless of environment."
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - Rated 26 Dec 2007
"Makes no sense, but has a great time doing it! Awesome music and hilarious performances... a true cult classic!"
Moulin Rouge! (2001) - Rated 26 Dec 2007
"A. Maze. Ing. Great music, great acting, and very good storyline. Wonderful mix of 1800's France and today's music."
Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) - Rated 26 Dec 2007
"One of my favorite movie, this film is chock full of great performances, witty & clever dialogue and hilarious Midwestern references. Awesome mockumentary, better than the Christopher Guest crap I've seen."
Chicago (2002) - Rated 26 Dec 2007
"Great movie, excellent acting, surprising musical performances by actors, a great film. Must see for musical fans!"
