Lincoln
I’m sure this could’ve been an interesting story to tell, however, the way it was told was absolutely boring. They had Lincoln reciting story after story. It was charming the first time but by the third time I was glad that he was shot. DDL was amazing nonetheless. There was no exploration of the true conflicts. Basic story of turning votes. They didn’t even try to justify their positions. Could we even hear the other side? Was just bigotry? Were they all idiots? What about the black people themselves? We didn’t hear their side aside from a maid. It’s not a good movie unfortunately. Not worth watching.
