Silent Hill

Its watchable i guess.
honestly, disappointing as a game tie in movie, and even on its own merits, its kind of a meh.
The best of the entire film franchise but obviously thats not saying much.
Even as the best one it really misses the mark on producing the real vibe the games exude in streams.
Silent hill franchise took a lot of inspiration from David lynch films, and jacobs ladder, and if they were to lean into that a bit more as like tone and aesthetic reference, probably would have hit the mark far better.
I noticed lately its gained a bit of a fallowing in later years and thats fine, its far from the worst thing ive ever watch, could even say one of the better game adaptation movies even if taking a bit too many liberties,
but even so, left a lot too be desired. I wont say trash but a disappointment. Would watch with a friend if asked and would enjoy it more then. would never return myself.
