Death Wish

It’s true that the legendary Bruce Willis’s acting skills had steadily declined a while ago already, even before the early-onset frontotemporal dementia, but it really doesn’t help that they put him in such a piece of shit movie. Great that we got to watch Hank Schrader from breaking bad struggle to open a snack, spit it out because it’s bad, and then stumble to the watercooler to wash out his mouth a couple times. very Lynchian. Only book referenced was Milton Keynes hohoho that’s actually crazy but it kinda tracks for this American a film. The vigilante revenge story, a dude who’s loved by all the people like a folk her because it’s the real bad rule breakers who get executed by the “Grim Reaper”

There’s a slomo scene of Bruce walking up to sum in the hood for a shooting. Police description, “Mid to late thirties.” Incredible

Vincent Dinofrio going crazy as well

This elder-exploitationsploitation era of the GOATs career, I suggest not ever going past 2013 as a rule for his incredible career one of the greatest to ever do it
