This short's art style was interesting and set the mood well. It was a more straightforward adaptation then most of the animated versions seem to be, which was nice. its big problem was that it felt like it was on fast forward, going through scenes as quick as possible and having either a narrator or Scrooge himself hurry up lines and parts of the plot. So, it was nice to look at, and interesting to watch, but way too rushed to be more then just an ok adaptation. It gets extra points for the art

Brilliant animation, perfect voice cast (especially Sim), and it surprisingly unrushed for such a short adaptation.

Good adaption about this classic.

Remarkably not good. Having Alastair Sim as Scrooge again only invites all kinds of unfavorable comparisons to the classic 1951 version

Richard Williams' animation is incredible to look at, but I'm just so damned bored with this story. It's been adapted more ways than Cinderella.

A great re-telling of one of my favourite stories.

I think some of the voice acting could've been better. It was mostly adequate, though. The animation is awesome, as you'd expect with Williams. It's hard to get very excited about yet another retelling of such a familiar story, but this is certainly worth seeing.
