It wasn't brilliant or anything - usually not much more than an excuse for the teenage performers to make weird faces and contort their bodies - but there were a few good chuckles here and there.

Kenan as the French guy in the bathtub is smarter political satire than anything SNL has ever produced

For a Nickelodeon-produced version of a sketch show in the vein of SNL or Living Color this is a lot better than it has any right to be. The cast was varied and talented and it more than occasionally struck gold. It's not ultimately more than solid but it is a show worth being nostalgic for.

You have to give the show credit for Kenan and Kel, and Amanda Bynes was also hilarious in this show. The more recent reboot was a decent attempt and bringing it back but it will never beat the classics.

Overall pretty forgettable, but there were some classics.
