Andromeda

As a teen I lived with a rabid fan of the show, so I ended up seeing all 5 seasons a good 3 or 4 times. First season and a half is schlocky but promising, but it's all downhill from there.

The main plot and worldbuilding starts pretty good, and then it becomes very uneven, and i stayed more for the good main characters and semi-frequently good individual stories. Plus it has that fun kick ass and cheesy atmosphere and behaviors often, though there are also moments and scenes and stories of depth.

okay series

Classic space-opera that works better conceptually than practically. There are some good story arcs, but a lot of cringe to accompany it. Bertram and Doig are probably the best part of the show.

There was some mildly interesting concepts floating around here, but "Andromeda" was cheap and tacky.
