What a waste of a good story... King needs to be more discriminate with how his stories are adapted.

A bland soulless adaption of a (all things considered) subtle King novel.

Couldn't hold my attention. Found myself reaching for the laptop about 1/3 of the way through. With it being a King movie, I doubt I really missed a whole lot anyways (overrated)

A major contender for most extremely awful Stephen King movie I've seen, which is saying a lot. Few and far between are the tritest, most yawn-inducing scares imaginable. Most of the time Bag of Bones is a stale mystery-melodrama with absolutely retarded writing prevading every single minute of it. Woefully, there are 160 of those tedious, head-grabbing minutes. All 5 points go to Melissa George, but only for her looks.

With an entertaining performance Pierce Brosnan does an admirable job holding this together. Overall though it's a miserable and depressing movie that gradually descends into eye-rolling silliness.

Not as good as the book, but it's worth to see it.

Very solid picture. So many of Stephen King's horrors come out so corny on film, but this is a solid film delivered in a meaningful manor. Keep it up Stephen King and Mick Garris.

Yet another uninspired miniseries adaptation of a Stephen King novel. They keep making 'em. We keep watching. Money is made. Meh.

What a confusing mess of a story. I haven't read the book so I can't speak to whether or not the fault lies with the adaption or the source material.
