Battle Creek

An incredibly basic, uninspired cop procedural. Let's just say Vince Gilligan made the right choice hopping over to Better Call Saul instead of wasting his time with this.

Kind of cheesy, but good for a Drama, Crime series. If you are into NCIS or detective like shows, this is a must. But for me personally didn't have the Breaking Bad, or Better Call Saul vibe.

You have to love Dean Winters as a cop, and Josh Duhamel as anything. That said, "Battle Creek" is mediocre, and the synergy between otherwise two great actors, is lacking. Nonetheless, it is a light watch, easily enjoyable, despite not bringing much of a quality to the table. And after all, the show is only one season long, so basically an overextended movie.
