Good example of how a show composed out of (too many) great individual parts can still be crap because of poor convergence between them.

A good example of a show that came roaring out of the gate - I truly loved the pilot, its cynical mood and monologues and Kelsey Grammer's powerhouse performance - then just the became more convoluted and less involving as it went on. By the series finale I was using it as background noise while doing minor household errands.
