Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana and entertained audiences nearly his entire life. By the early 60s the older boys Jackie, Tito and Jermaine had begun performing around the city; by 1964 Michael and Marlon had joined in. A musical prodigy, Michael's singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of "The Jackson 5." Solo success for Michael was inevitable, and by the 80s he had become infinitely more popular than his brotherly group.

There's some cheesy charm to it, especially if you lived through the rough-around-the-edges early days of The Simpsons, but it's not exactly good.

An above-average novelty song with an accompanying music video by none other than Brad Bird. That being said, novelty music cashing in on the latest craze ranges from amusing to god-awful, so there's only so much you can expect from this.

Fixin' test scores to get the best scores. Droppin' banana peels all over the floor. I'm the kid that made delinquency an art, Last name Simpson, first name Bart.

It has been done and it cannot be undone. Severely missing any charm or humour from any early Simpsons episode (plus featuring shittier animation), this cynical cash-in mixes the three most popular things in the early '90s: Bart Simpson, Michael Jackson, and terrible white rapping. The twist ending that no-one saw coming is genuinely upsetting and may likely bring back troubling primary school memories. "That is so 1991".

Far better than most of the early Simpsons content. Great song, great video.
