Petered out and gradually quit after the Goku Black arc (still too long; still too much filler) but if you’re a fan of the DBZ universe this continued it in a way far more accurate to the spirit of the previous series than what I’ve seen of the bizarre Dragon Ball GT.

best show in the dragon ball franchise, the beginning was worse than Z but the TOP arc was really good.

The anime style wasn't as great as Z. The characters looked weaker and smaller which was distracting, but seeing ultra instinct was awesome. I can say I was there when the internet was broken

The movies for this were so good. This show is terrible and uninspiring. Lazy animation, lazy writing, lazy choreography, and the same old ridiculous power scaling. They joke about allowing the rest of the characters to join in and do something useful, but that goes nowhere. Also Goku got flanderized into a complete idiot with no redeeming qualities. I was hoping he'd die by the end.

shouldnt have retold the movies in a worse way. dub shoulda been way sooner. and it's not good enough to watch weekly, it shoulda been released by arc. future trunks was good weekly for a while though. best comedy in dragon ball, but some is bad too. rewatching at x2 is a lot better. but the end and broly got me so hype for the return

Super is undoubtedly better than GT but at the same time it shows just how limited the series has become by this point in time. Most of the characters have been boiled down to their most obvious character trait and it relies far too heavily on already-established tropes such as the last-second transformation to save everything, which happens at least 3 times to my memory.
