Everything Wrong with...

In its early days, this YouTube series offered semi-insightful movie analyses that actually held water. However, in their quest for a wider audience and greater ad revenue, the creators dumbed down their approach into a lengthy series of obnoxious and frequently inaccurate nitpicks. Honest Trailers, while hardly brilliant, is far superior in both analysis and comedy.

If you haven't seen my review for Cinema Sins it's this: this is completely terrible and there is absolutely nothing redeeming about it. Actively avoid this at all costs.

An awful series made by two morons who not only consistently misunderstand the films they watch but also have no idea how comedy works. What makes Cinema sins awful is that the only punchline for their jokes is that they nitpicked some aspect of a movie they thought was stupid while pretending that the nitpick itself is somehow not criticism. not only is this a shallow, empty attempt at comedy but it's also misleading about the nature of the film. It's possibly the worst form of satire ever.
