S1 is pretty good at portraying the Israel-Palestine conflict and why certain problems arise on both sides. Sadly the later seasons turn very pro Israel and seem to dehumanise most Palestinians as animals and lower beings that you can shoot. Typical example is how the Israeli strike team keep bursting into multiple houses and shoot lots of seemingly random people in front of their family, women and children, as if this is a completely natural thing for the Israeli army to do when hunting someone

Don't believe the hype, the first season is watchable but it's not interesting on its own. At some point it felt like run of the mill melodrama set within complex geopolitical situation with some name drop here or there.

There's a little bit of the intrigue and action you'd expect from a cat and mouse game, but at its core this is pretty much your usual TV melodrama. I guess it has sparked some controversy on both sides of the political spectrum, but that's to be expected from the volatile subject matter. Above and beyond it, this is pretty tame.
