Sometimes hilarious, sometimes maddening. Almost never liked Issa but really cared about Molly. they were both 100% the cause of most of their own problems, but Molly’s problems and reactions felt more legit

T.1 - 75, T2 - 70, T3 - 80, T4 - 90, T4 - 70. Issa e Yvonne são maravilhosas.

Strong writing and believable acting. Which is essential since there is very little plot to speak of. Beautiful depiction of Los Angeles, and also a hilarious series.

Really actual. Too much sex scenes if you take into account how little they add to the storyline. Issa is cute!

I got three episodes in, and realised I hate the protagonists. It's black Girls. No, thanks.

S1 90 / S2 88 / S3 91

Didn't like the first season, as the main character was a petty, juvenile backstabbing piece of shit. Her lover, best friend, co-worker, all treated like garbage. I found her unredeemable. But the second season is enjoyable as the characters seem to be getting their shit together.

It's pretty funny most of the time, and discusses plenty of intersectional issues with wit and charm. It does follow a pretty standard plot framework for its first season, so I'm really curious to see where it heads once these characters are pushed out of such conventional places.
