The fact that it's so mean spirited wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that almost nothing in this has any depth. It feels like it's just trying to be edgy for the sake of being edgy which just makes it feel forced and unpleasant.

Good in spots, generic in others. Animatiom very much of it's time but does flow well. You could do worse but... The atudio had stromg links to porn studios and it shows. Unusually violent with graphic sex scenes.

I'm reserving a bit of judgment until I can see the Japanese uncut version where nothing can be lost in translation, but I have seen the extended sex (rape) scenes, and I honestly can understand why they were cut from US releases despite my feelings on censorship. When this is an action movie, it's pretty good if also a bit generic. The falling scene is terrifically done. But the sex aspects just feel so slimey and mean, and they really discount the message the story is otherwise trying to send.

Art and animation are pretty good but not amazing. Story is dark but not particularly intelligent. Music is really good though. Probably would have been more impactful if it were longer.

Sex! Violence! And it forgets to add anything else. Which would be ok if it decided to be just an action movie, but instead tries to hit the emotion of something like leon or nikita...failing miserably as its so rote in its presentation.

Excellent action scenes, some very graphic hentai (which I wasn't expecting) and dark, oh so dark undertones...

I absolutely love the premise and it has really interesting plotlines and characters, yet this movie really leaves out a lot of development and possible side stories. This is one of the animes, where it would succeed much more as a feature length.

There are four versions of this film available each with their own pros and cons. I prefer the director's cut over the other three but would recommend the original R-rated 45 minutes cut or maybe the remastered version to most people out there.

Rad action sequences. If this was stretched out into a full-length feature film with more character development, it would have been great.

Some artistic merit, but lacks in dialogue. If you see the censored U.S. release, it's way too short for a film, even one like this.

Needed a bit more depth to the character motivations. Decent story (for a hentai), excellent animation for the 90s, and great action scenes.

OW! THE EDGE!

Too disjointed and edgy for its own good, it's just another example of 90s anime features that just tried to be too visual and fanservice-y without thinking about what makes a cohesive movie.

The animation is pretty. The story is unoriginal. And the friend who got me to watch this didn't tell me about the hentai scenes, so I was kind of unhappy about that. It's worth a watch if you want to see well-animated sex scenes (and good animation overall).
