Legends of Tomorrow is silly and aware of its silliness playing into it at every opportunity; a refreshing take of the every-so-serious superhero genre. The first season is a little rough, occasionally falling into the serious trap. The 2nd season finds it footing with a slight change of cast and embracing premise of misfits out of time, and the show is better for it. Using this tactic in the 3 & 4 season keeps the show fun and fresh.

I appreciate some of the wacky episodes but it doesn't make up for the subpar acting and story.

Stopped watching after season 2.

As much as I like Arthur Darvill and the Doctor Who similarities, the first season really didn't know what it wanted to be. It was entertaining enough, but the show really kicked off when it started becoming more self aware and hilarious. The last few seasons have been gold.

First season is a complete mess. Season 2 is not much better but a little bit of step up. But finally season 3 is a good (not great just good) season with the show accepting that it shouldn't take itself very seriously.i don't have high hopes for future seasons but it's decent show visual wise as long as you ignore the ridiculous plots.

I tried. I really tried. It's time travel. It's Arthur Darvill. It's superheroes. I really wanted to like this show. But, try as I might, I couldn't even make it through the first episode. The show was too convoluted and expected me to care too much about the characters from the get-go. DC has failed me again.

(updated for season 3) the show had some retooling after season 1 which is an overall improvement. i like the grey nature and moral ambiguity of the characters. early reviewers should revisit the show. (season 4) even more improvements.. the show has really found it's footing. well written and tight dialogue.

It's a little overly busy and unfocused, but there's always enough wacky madcap superhero shenanigans going on to hold your interest from episode to episode. Captain Cold and White Canary are probably my favorite characters. The villain Vandal Savage gets a little boring sometimes. But I like how the various time periods give different episodes different times and feels, from 1950s to Cold War to Old West to futuristic sci-fi to futuristic apocalyptic - mixes things up.

This isnt my first Prison Break.

Actually too soon to rank this, so I'll rerank after the first season. What I learnt until now: Somewhat refreshing, but sometimes this is utter chaos. I think you can't watch or appreciate this if you haven't seen The Flash or Arrow. They use some minor characters and make an unbelievable mix of them is this series. Does this actually work? Too little in my opinion.
