Life in Colour

It's basically impossible to go wrong if you just have quality production and David Attenborough. Another nice entry in the post-Planet Earth nature doc oeuvre.

Basically just a 2-episode mini Planet Earth. I for one, am just glad we're making as many of these as we can while David Attenborough is still alive.

Impressive images, as always, though not the most interesting Attenborough series. It’s nice to hear a bit from the biologists and cameramen in the third episode. Perhaps the highlight of the whole series, though, was the look of almost apologetic relish expressed by a female scientist when talking about how the bright markings on the male jumping spider may give it an extra second to impress the female, before she decides whether to accept him or, in her words, “cannibalise him”.
