üçüncü sezonu ilk ikisi kadar ciddi biçimde işlemiyor ama görece gerçekçi politik yaklaşımlar üzerine kurulu, başarılı bir politik gerilim.

Strong start but slowly gets stupider and stupider. I still have to give it points for pissing off the Russians irl so bad they vaguely threatened Norway. Also as a half-Swede who grew up outside of Sweden, the immediate Swedish betrayal in this is fucking hilarious. That, the Swedish doctor in Riget & the sheep fucker in Lilyhammer is first class cultural stereotyping.

Intermittently gripping but weighed down by convolution and contrivance

Very tense, political thriller series. Something totally else than we used to from the nordic countries, loved it.

There's a mix of Norwegian, English, and Russian throughout this series so you'll have to exercise your subtitle reading muscles but it's such an exceptional series that you won't mind one bit. Imagine if a country with massive oil reserves discovered another way to produce energy and just turned off the oil taps to the countries around it. In this case the countries are not happy and they take an aggressive stance to get the oil flowing again. A well acted, on the edge of your seat story!
