Outsourced was a genuinely funny sitcom that had a reasonably nuanced take on cultural differentiation and expatriation, but felt out off place in NBC's golden Thursday night line-up (which skewed heavily into domestic America). The cast was great and also diverse. While it did retread common tropes, it contextualised them in a way that was new(ish). Shame it only got a single season.

It is not a bad series but not funny enough for me. Call me classic but I prefer sitcoms with the laugh track. Those ones tend to be more absurd and funny. Between that one and "Melissa & Joey" for instance, I prefer the latter.

Interesting premise but it had no chance to be extended, it simply wasn't silly enough to compete and featured a largely non white cast.

How the grass looks greener on the other side! When this debuted back in 2010 it smelled like so much poop next to NBC's other Thursday comedy shows (Community, The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec). If it debuted today in 2015 it would be the best sitcom on NBC!
