Prep & Landing

Once we're introduced to Wayne it's a pretty fun little comedy that uses the worker elves premise well enough. There's nothing to wow me here, but the timing on everything is pretty spot on with a nice mix of jokes, surprises and bits of world building and the level of character development you'd expect. The actual story is rather saccharine christmas stuff, though, and the climax goes too big and shatters the fragile world the film has created by putting its logistical issues front and centre.

Cute, sort of forgettable the minute it's done with.

Good little Christmas short. The sequel is good too.
