Something like 24 by way of Harry Potter, but not as good at doing the terrorism thriller thing as the former or the "school of adventure" thing as the latter. It has a certain light frothy charm to it at points (not necessarily a good thing for a terrorism thriller...), but is often soapy in a bad way. And Priyanka Chopra is REALLY bad in the lead role. Critics pretended like she wasn't, but she is. Kiefer Sutherland in 24, Claire Danes in Homeland, rest easy, you have NOT met your match.

A prime-time soap opera, populated with some very pretty actors, a sort of "Desperate Housewives" with terrorism. The flashback scenes at the training academy are much better than the terrorism plots--too bad they couldn't have just stuck to that. Priyanka Chopra is awful as the lead. I kept thinking, "Whose girlfriend was she? One of the producers?" (This was before she got together with Nick Jonas.) "Baywatch", her other notable American gig, is much better suited to her, um, "abilities".
