It feels dated now, but I cannot exaggerate just how ahead of its time this show was, not just with its animation, but its storytelling as well. This was the first children's show I ever watched with season-long story arcs and a level of moral complexity and intellectual humour on par with "grown-up" television. ReBoot predicted and paved the way for the current world of children's animated television, but nowadays is seemingly forgotten.

before its time..

S1 67. felt like a tech/season demo at times, more dependent on the cool concept and animation, and cheesier. S2 75 and ends setting up one of the best runs in tv history. S3 89. perfect woulda been more time with enzo training. i forgot how deep they got with the mainframe/megabyte dream ep. and that they set up daemon that early. S4 90 off the strength of S3. but part 1 is worse than S3 and part 2 is worse than part 1, but i appreciated it way more now for the character stuff. comic 70-

Some of the first CGI on a regular basis, its now dated and clunky but was neat to see visually at the time.
