The pace is a little slower than modern comedies, but it uses the time to really make you care about the characters you get to spend extra time with.

Glad this made it to TV for the representation alone. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's sad, sometimes it's silly and sometimes it's hard. Each episode will make you feel something. Great work by everyone involved, it's barely over and I already miss the rezdogs.

So far so good with this slice of life that we have never seen on television. The young actors are mostly rough but engaging and the supporting cast is solid. The "in the trenches" humor is good and feels honest. Only a handful of episodes in but hooked so far. EDIT - into the 3rd season and it continues to impress. Its branched out a little in some one off episodes, delving further into mythology and tradition. Good stuff.

Rez Dogs is the most authentic coming-of-age story on TV. Period. / Nothing feels forced. The laughs come easy, the tears come quietly.

Paulina Alexis is terrific playing a vulnerable, wry, humane character. I loved all the kids.

I've been wanting to check this show out for a long time due the universal gushing acclaim and praise. What a boring-ass show. First episode didn't hold my attention. Wanted to power through force myself to get through 2 episodes. Boring. No laugh supposed "comedy". Dumped and forgotten.

Funny, sweet, original with a lot of heart.

a comedy drama that can be silly but still gets pretty serious. most often dealing with loss of loved ones, but also the struggles of becoming an adult, respecting but satirizing tradition. the representation and unique window into native american culture is excellent
