Sick of It

I was surprised with Karl's acting abilities, seeming very natural for a non-actor. But his own idiosyncratic strengths in comedy and life lessons are just not present here, instead going for something far more general. It's fairly unfunny and awkwardly plods from one scenario to another, getting increasingly phonier as it goes along. Karl himself has never been a sympathetic fellow, likewise here (even though the show's trying to demand it).

this show proves that Karl is a way better writer than Ricky. it's much better than Ricky's mawkish After Life
