Excellent acting and taut pacing with just the right amount of comedic relief. Unfortunately, Season 4 is where they run out of ideas and we get the usual dross about super soldiers and the like. Oh and the pilot was awful too, so just watch Season 1, Episode 2 through Season 3.

Better than your average brit spy series

A gray world filled with folly, everyone stinking unsympathetic. Typical British. It is of high quality and intelligence, but I had enough of the discomfort and disgust after only thirty minutes.

The incredibly boring name and poster had me fooled. An excellent - even if not flawless - show. Gary Oldman alone makes it worth watching.

1933: i saw 2 season in a row. it was brilliant and smart and funny and well written and well played. hope season 3 and 4 will release soon!

This is entirely my fault but the title has obviously nothing to do with the series being about horses. But when skimming my recommendations for something to watch I kept skipping this one just because of the title. Well, don't make the same mistake as me. It's a great series, recommended!

Not usually my thing, but every season so far has been among my favorites of the genre. Excellent pacing, solid characters, a good performance from Oldman in a fairly different role from his usual, and the humor is used well to keep things from being too overly self serious. Genuinely excited for more of this.

Season 2 much better than season 1, the latter started with an exciting scene then never matched it! Warmed to the characters in the second season, villians much more likeable and more menacing. Started to buy into Oldman's character more.

Should I be honest with you? First two episodes of Slow Horses were quite good, entertaining, high thriller and emotional. I think we rarely come across a series that carries all of these features. The character played by Gary Oldman can give you different vibes in many ways. Oldman makes a difference in every scene. As with most British thriller series, we still watch realistic stuff. I can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes. My rating may up or down later.
