Another good drugs doc from HBO, this time focusing on a 40-year-old divorcee who gets introduced to ecstasy by his teenage son, and can't get enough of it. The drugs themselves come out pretty much unscathed (both pills and acid get consistent rave reviews), it's the father who's scrutinised most closely. A nice guy who just seems to have too much of a Michael Jackson childlike quality about him to be a responsible father. Should be watched by anybody who's ever fallen in love with a drug.

I am conflicted about this documentary mostly because I am unsure as to why it was made. Scott, a 40-year old father, has some serious emotional issues, whether it's from the so-called "midlife crisis" or something to do with his father, and acts like Michael Scott. The documentary is partially anti-drug, and feels like an episode of Intervention (this doc. obv predates the show). It offers a look into a sad broken man's life, but why?
