Snowpiercer

Not bad, and engaging at times. Can't help but think that 9 times out of 10 they choose the least interesting plot option. Given the setting, it somehow manages to make keeping humanity alive perfunctory. The show is ultimately about... nothing. Order is bad, chaos is bad, balance is a cop out. Ok? Wished they stuck fiercely to survival and hierarchy dynamics in a closed system.

Three seasons of getting my intelligence insulted over and over is as much as I can take. Terrible characters and terrible plot twists ruin a concept that could have been great. The movie did it better, the comic book did it better, both were not ashamed of being a metaphor about class warfare and didn't try to tell other weird side stories. I'm out.

Pretty cheap to begin with, but the last few episodes were interesting.

S01 of Snowpiercer delivers a tumultuous ride as it stretches out the exposition of its rather simple post-apocalyptic class-divide premise. While the final 2 episodes are vaguely more interesting, the show remains cliché-ridden with annoying characters. Connelly & Wright do a good job. Diggs, while initially likable, devolves into a mix of stroppy, poncy and self-righteous that is frustrating to watch.

It's not very consistent in quality but worth it nonetheless, as only for Jennifer, Daveed and the disgusting Sean Bean.

Lame. Very lame.

The faster the engine goes, the more power for charging the batteries. Until, of course, they need the speed for plot reasons. Then it drains the batteries! Pure logic. Seasons 1 and 2 were watchable. Almost didn't finish season 3 because the writing was so awful. With only occasional exceptions, this series' "protagonist" is an unlikeable, conceited twit. He should have been written out mid-season 1. Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean carry the show.

I just like the whole dystopian setting in this serie. I sure will watch next season.

This series is amazing! I liked very much the deeper characters stories is great! It's a good metaphor of our world.
