South Park: The Streaming Wars

I'm so fucking tired of Tegridy.

Considering this was roughly 50 minutes long and doesn’t conclude, it wasn’t funny or justified enough to warrant being this long. This should have been a regular episode at best. Easily the weakest of the South Park Specials.

To me, current South Park is a bit hit and miss, for the comedy has become too tame/safe to really nail their points, but I appreciate that it's become a continuous story, as it always leave the question of where they're going to go with this stuff. Here they do a weird take on the battle between streaming services, which was a bit meh... at this point. We'll see where it leads. But I've leave this by just saying... Cartwoman.

Butters Stotch: "They don't give a fuck, Kyle. They're gonna take everything they can get. Everyone knows at the end of the day, there's only gonna be like three streaming services. And they don't give a fuck how good anything is, when the people who made all the deals, well they don't give a fuck 'cause they're all gonna get fired anyway you know. And everyone working at that streaming service is now working over at that streaming service. No one gives a shit about what fuckin' goes on."

Good as always.

Fortune does indeed favor the bold.

South Park is a guilty pleasure, it was funny to me.

To me, South Park's convoluted specials, with their mess of unconnected and edgeless satires, toilet humor, and pointless celebrity appearances, have far overstayed their welcome. I totally could have done without this one and I'm never going to remember it as distinct from its recent predecessors.

Somehow, South Park never misses.

Great comedy, still, after so many years. And bringing together 2 very current hot topics: water + streaming services
