That '90s Show

Typical bad Netflix sitcom quality. Most of the original cast makes a cameo, so that adds a few points for nostalgia.

A bizarre blend of nostalgia for the source material and sitcoms of the Era that the source was released. Sometimes bland, sometimes clever. I liked it and will like to see a Season 2.

I didn't like it. Any time the legacy characters are onscreen, it is fun. The new characters, however, are pretty much a dead zone, especially the new lead girl. She has zero comic timing.

new kids get almost good enough most of the time. mostly just waiting for the old cast cameos and they're pretty great then there's like hardly any, and they're not really good enough in the last half or 3rd of the season. the 90210 scene was my fav. and once the gay kid came out, i appreciated that they're being inaccurate about how the 90s actually were and superimposing modern day PC shit onto it. but it's weird that this show is less edgy/more childish than T7S and the real-age cast feels 12

I’ve seen like 3 or 4 episodes ever of That 70s Show so I don’t know what possessed me to hit play on this lol. I realized partway through the pilot when Topher Grace wouldn’t shut up about Yoda and the Force etc that I now officially find Star Wars references as humor / characterization played out and cringe. It was cool when Clerks did it almost 30 years ago. It’s not cool anymore. (And this is coming from someone who used to be so into SW in the 90s I read the Thrawn & Jedi Academy novels.)

Kitty(Debra Jo Rupp) ve Red(Kurtwood Smith)'in hiç değişmemiş olduğunu görmek duygulandırdı. Mila Kunis&Ashton Kutcher'ı da görmek özeldi. Fakat dizinin kalitesi çocuk karakterlerin hiç ilgi çekici olmamasından dolayı aşağı seviyede kalıyor. Leia(Callie Havarda) hariç herkes sıradandı

Going back to Point Place with the gang as adults is like learning to appreciate your hometown a little more once you leave. However you are reminded very early in this a much different show with new characters. Some hits, some misses and a few wild returns and moments later you cannot help but yearn for the nostalgia of the moments that helped you grow. A good show that I would like to see continue if it chooses to add a little more depth to the characters and not just scratch the surface.
