The Crowded Room

I thought this was a brilliant show. Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried, and honestly the entire cast gave brilliant performances, and the last few episodes are insanely good.

You kind of have to make it to episode 6 to see Tom Holland really crank up his acting chops, and then it stays top notch through the rest.

I honestly don’t fully understand the criticism for it. It does repeat itself a bit, but I didn’t mind the lead up, even enjoying the early episodes as much as the later ones. And while the twist is obvious, the show doesn’t hinge on the audience not knowing. There’s nothing stand out here, except the performances, which are excellent (particularly Holland, arguably at his best). But I found it to be thoroughly engaging from start to finish, with fleshed out characters, and a good story.

I didn't find it as bad as critics and people made it to be. Solid show, takes a bit too long to unravel the "mystery" of the plot, and the prison and courtroom drama are both a bit weak, but overall this was a fine watch with good acting and directing by everyone involved.
