The Day of the Jackal

Written by a child, for children.

Too stupid to work. You mean that as a rookie you can barge into a top secret MI6 meeting, steal the show and reveal that you somehow have a secret asset? I think the latter alone is probably enough reason to go to prison! The Redmayne killings are pretty cool but the agent trying to combine motherhood and obsessive work ethic (and failing of course) i really really can’t do this again especially not for 10 hours! Lol @ the agent also shoving the medics away and doing CPR on an ambulance

A new masterpiece added!

I didn't expect to enjoy this and also surprisingly Eddie Redmayne was very suitable for this role

Solid cast, lots of excellent performers. Very good story, you can see what's going to happen in a lot of places but that's cool.

Exceptional. Remarkable.

S01: Who is the protagonist here? Is it the annoying MI6 agent that acts like an adolescent, or an unevenly written assassin superhero that meanders from being a ruthless, calculated killer, and a guy with a heart who just happens to be great at hitting people in the head over long distances? Characters are inconsistent and all over the place, and the story thrashes and flails barely managing to keep the course and reach the conclusion, which is so satisfying, it added 30 to the score.

almost perfect in what it is. It's a great suspensive assassin's story, with pleasent suprises and attention to detail that I really liked. I will ignore some minor problems in the story. Amazing sound track and music, and great filming and editing. Acting by Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch is also superb.

It's a really good modernization of a great novel. Loved how true to a killer character behaved. Won't say anymore than that, you just have to watch it to enjoy it's thrilling actions.
