This movie is about a very delicate subject, but instead of going to the trial or the background of it, the film shows how they documented it which is not the most interesting thing about this story, they revolve the story around a producer and a director instead of doing it around Eichmann, so I was a bit disappointed, a good thing is that they mix real footage from the documentary with the film which makes it seem more authentic.

BBC drama telling the story about the broadcasting of Nazi Adolf Eichmann's trial which communicated the evil the Nazi's was doing to the wider world public. It's the powerful use of the real broadcasting footage that makes the movie. The continuous search for a reaction of remorse in Eichmann's face. The dramatic story about the guys handling the broadcast felt sporadic and never got to the core of the situation. Simply random aspects they experienced and nothing to really round it all up.

Would have been more interesting to show the actual film footage.

There are many interesting stories one could tell about the Eichmann trial. The filming of the trial isn't one of them - or, if it is, this movie didn't manage to make it interesting. Probably it knows it too, since it relies heavily on the use of real footage to keep the viewer engaged, but that footage can be seen elsewhere.
