The Miniature Wife

I thought this was pretty enjoyable. It may not stand out massively compared to other shows airing right now, but it has a fun concept, decent humor, and solid VFX, so I enjoyed my time with it.

The show has a few bright spots thanks to a genuinely well-matched cast doing their best with the material. Unfortunately, any potential is quickly buried under terrible, eye-straining CGI and a deeply unconvincing storyline that overly infantilizes its sci-fi premise. The biggest flaw, however, is how stretched out the narrative feels—nearly half of the episodes act as pure filler and contribute absolutely nothing to the plot. Ultimately, it ends up being a rather tedious and wasted concept.

Utter drivel.

The concept is fun and could be thematically interesting, but I didn't even finish the first episode, that's how tedious the characters and their dynamics were. The mid-life middle-class cliches almost put me to sleep.
