Incredibly intense nail-biter of a story of three kids trying to escape a nightmare scenario. There's not much to it beyond that, but that's okay. This rating is only for the first season; by all accounts the second one sucks and I have no interest in it since the first one wraps things up nicely enough.

great mystery series! do not watch season 2, it was bad to the point of laughter, and I will pretend it didn't exist for this rating

Season 1 was really good. It had potential, even having me to read the manga which I don't do often unless I'm hooked. When I saw the manga, I felt excited for it to be recreated in the anime. But when season 2 dropped and I saw it would be the last season, I gave the benefit of the doubt and hoped that there would be more than 12 episodes; but that was too good to be true. A 91% score rating had just plummet into a 39% rating because of how giga goofy the S2 is.

As with others s1 only. not quite as harsh as some on s2, in my eyes it was garbage only because of s1... without the promise in s1 the story in s2 would have been average but not terrible

My high score is for the first season only. The only season worth watching. Season 1 will be one of the best things you have watched. Season 2 is absolute complete goddamn garbage.

Season one set the stage for a fresh and interesting story, only for season two to double-back on everything and return to a less-than-average, generic plot.

DO NOT WATCH SEASON 2. I just wish someone forced me not to watch the horrendous second season and read the manga instead. It ruined Yakusoku no Neverland for me. Season 1 : 8.5/10 Season 2 : 6.5/10
