An interesting concept, handled in such a boring way. I slept for a while in almost every single episode, that’s how slow burning it was. It is more Alien than Aliens but needed a bit more Aliens.

The salesman from SQUID GAME meets the waitress from CLOUD ATLAS and together they uncover a conspiracy about a magical substance that could either destroy the world or save it. The waitress overcomes past trauma and learns to have feelings and the salesman learns that taking a job for his daughter's sake doesn't exempt him from other sacrifices. The waitress is enjoyably expressionless but the salesman's eyebrow movements are a bit too poster-boy-ish. Many elements borrowed from ALIEN and 2001.

Could be more exciting with more solid horror elements, fun to watch anyways.

Not bad. They do that thing they always do despite the danger that appears to be all around them, they split up, wander off, etc.

Could have been really interesting but is just such a slow burn that it becomes a struggle to get through every episode as it gets incredibly boring.

It's taking a lot of willpower not to describe this one as "dry" considering the subject matter; it's at least underwritten, a standard outline haphazardly filled out with shallow treatments of Big Issues and off-the-peg characters. I suspect many who were lured in by the aesthetics of hard sci-fi will be repelled by a level of respect for basic physical laws slightly below that of Méliès' A Trip to the Moon, though sadly without the rampaging hordes of Selenites.

Slow burning space thriller with shabby premise and good atmosphere. Newt is cute, but we could do without her bad CGI movements.

Nice visuals and good atmosphere. The special effects on the girl weren't necessary, it looks a bit silly and I couldn't see a reason why this needs to be included in the story. The whole concept of the show requires too much suspension of disbelief to be fully appreciated.
