The Young Ones

Actually the first series isn't very good. The second was great though.

Ever since I first saw it at 12 years old, this has been my favourite TV show ever (showing off more longevity than my favourite movie, whatever that may be). This is what comedy should be, it's endlessly funny, irreverent, has a 100% hit rate, and has a unique structure of being a skit-based sit-com variety show (for budgetary reasons), which makes it even more fun and wild. Each of the four characters are hilarious in their own ways, along with the revolving door of guest stars. The best.

Was never a fan, except of Alexei Sayle.

Perhaps it's familiarity, nostalgia or both but just doesn't seem to have aged too well. Still worth a look though.
